Herbal teas can also be spilt into Pure Herbal Teas and Mixed Blend Herbal Teas. These blends can either be composed of different plants or different components of the same plant.

Storgae and preparation of herbal teas
To best preserve the freshness of teas, it is important to store them in a cool, dry, airtight container, out of reach of sunlight. As herbal teas absorb smells, they should be kept far away from products with strong fragrances, such as spices.
Recommended preparation for Herbal tea: One teaspoon is enough for one cup (150ml). A more precise, recommended amount may be suggested for individual teas in the shop. Freshly harvested herbs require shorter steeping times than dried herbs. Steeping time should not exceed 10 minutes
